If a student registered for a class is a "No Show" No refunds will be given. If a student cancels within 24 hours of the class, they will be rescheduled for another class within 30 days. This is a one time reschedule.

Any person(s) who have received training and a certification card from First Response CPR & First Aid Training Inc. and who renders aid to any victim, does so under thier own will and is not covered by First Response CPR & First Aid Training Inc.. This person takes full responsibility for thier own actions and treatment. First Response CPR & First Aid Training Inc. is a training provider and is not liable for any person(s) actions during an emergency. 

Request for Private Information

All students are required to sign in on a "Class Roster". This roster is used only by First Response CPR & First Aid Training Inc.. The roster and all information is the sole property of First Response CPR & First Aid Training Inc.. No information will be sold or made public. First Response CPR & First Aid Training Inc. will provide a copy of any class roster upon request by a lawful court order or subpoena .


Hold Harmless Contract

All students will be required to sign a Hold Harmless Contract prior to participating in a First Aid, AED, or CPR class. Should the student refuse to sign, he/she will not be allowed to take the training class.

California Health & Safety Code 
      GOOD SAMARITAN LAW

1799.100.  In order to encourage local agencies and other
organizations to train people in emergency medical services, no local
agency, entity of state or local government, or other public or
private organization which sponsors, authorizes, supports, finances,
or supervises the training of people, or certifies those people,
excluding physicians and surgeons, registered nurses, and licensed
vocational nurses, as defined, in emergency medical services, shall
be liable for any civil damages alleged to result from those training
programs.

1799.102.  No person who in good faith, and not for compensation,
renders emergency care at the scene of an emergency shall be liable
for any civil damages resulting from any act or omission.  The scene
of an emergency shall not include emergency departments and other
places where medical care is usually offered.


The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by American Heart Association. Any fees charges for such a course, except for portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the Association
